PETALING JAYA: The independence of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) must be preserved, says Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Paul Low (pic).
"Although the transfer of the two officers was done administratively, it is inappropriate because if officers in the MACC can be transferred by 'outsiders', MACC officers would not have security of tenure and therefore they would not be able to carry out their jobs professionally and without fear," Low told The Star Online on Saturday.
