Woman who chopped up baby jailed a year


JITRA: The wo­­­­­­­man who chopped her stillborn baby into eight pieces and flushed away the body parts was sentenced to one year in jail by a magistrate’s court here yesterday.

Farihah Abd Aziz (pic), 31, who is unemployed, pleaded guilty when charged with intentionally hiding the stillborn girl, cutting up the body into eight pieces and flushing down the body parts into a septic tank in Kampung Manggol, Mukim Malau, Jitra, between 1pm and 3pm on July 6.
