GEORGE TOWN: Twelve Indonesians in two fishing vessels were detained by the marine police near Pulau Kendi for fishing in Malaysian waters illegally.
The two tekongs and 10 crew members, who are in their 20s and 30s, were in both the vessels when they were stopped by a patrolling marine police boat at 50.6 nautical miles off Pulau Kendi at 1.57pm. The vessels have also been seized.
