CIJ: The Edge ban heavy-handed, breach press freedom

PETALING JAYA: The suspension of permits of The Edge's publications will lead to more questions asked on the management of 1Malaysia Development Bhd, said the Centre for Independent Journalism (CIJ).

Its directors, Sonia Randhawa and Jac Kee, said it would be in the public and government’s interest that governance and management of 1MDB be transparent and accountable.
