Indonesians’ Raya exodus

Heading home: People waiting patiently at the Berjaya Waterfront Ferry Terminal in Stulang Laut to buy tickets with some queuing up as early as 5am.

JOHOR BARU: As Malaysian Muslims return to their hometowns to celebrate Hari Raya with their loved ones, their Indonesian counterparts here, too, are gearing up to do likewise.

Thousands of Indonesians are expected to depart for their villages during the balik kampung exodus either by ferry or flight.
