Fine, caning for Casanova who duped 14 women


KUALA LUMPUR: A Casanova who cheated 14 women and stole their cash and belongings worth RM125,986, was ordered to pay a fine of RM39,000 in default five years' jail and to be caned four times by a Magistrates' Court here Wednesday.

Magistrate Nur A'minatul Mardiah Md Nor sentenced Yawad Mokminim Taib, 34, after he admitted to 16 charges of stealing, cheating and disposing of stolen property.
