JOHOR BARU: A housewife was shocked to receive a letter summoning her to court, after her identity was used without her knowledge, as a guarantor for a loan scheme.
Tan May Mai, 55, said she met a lady called Ah Chen at an entertainment centre in October 2012 who convinced her to take up a RM10,000 loan with the Malaysian Chinese Women Entrepreneurs Association to open up a food stall.
