Museum director Joanna Kitingan, however, said the plague could not be that of the Batu Sumpah Mengikut Perlembagaan (the Oath Stone in Accordance to the Constitution) of Keningau erected over 50 years ago.
She pointed out that the plague, which was handed over to his brother Bingkor assemblyman Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, had inscriptions “Batu Sumpah Peringatan (Memorial Oath Stone)."
