KULAIJAYA: In their eagerness to go home for Hari Raya, a group of Indonesians working in Kuala Lumpur spent their hard-earned RM1,500 to make an illegal journey with their families by boat.
Two boat skippers had promised them that with the payment, they would travel by express bus to Johor before being brought to the Pengerang waters off Kota Tinggi to go home on a boat.
