When big brother is the big man himself

Geared for Raya: Najib helping four-year-old Mohd Syafiq and two-year-old Muhammad Absullah Muhammad Tamlikha try on their new baju raya made by GiatMara trainees at the community commercial centre in Bandar Tun Razak in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.

KUALA LUMPUR: He has three older siblings but it seems like four-year-old Mohd Syafiq Husin may have found himself the biggest brother of all. When introduced to Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, he identified the Prime Minister as his “abang” or big brother.

The boy from the Al-Firdaus orphanage in Denai Alam met Najib when the Prime Minister was visiting the GiatMara training centre in Bandar Tun Razak, Cheras, here yesterday.
