GEORGE TOWN: A housewife facing human trafficking-related charges was unsuccessful in her application for bail in a High Court here.
Judicial Commissioner Collin Lawrence Sequerah yesterday rejected Teoh Li Wah’s application on the grounds that bail must be agreed to by the Deputy Public Prosecutor who had not offered bail in this case.
