KUALA LUMPUR: A proposal has been submitted to the Government to ban 24-hour restaurants and eateries in residential and rural areas, in a bid to curb social ills.
Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim said the proposal was made after numerous complaints that such outlets were behind the rise in social ills nationwide.
