KUANTAN: The Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (Fama) will be importing two million coconuts from Indonesia to fulfil the spike in demand for the fruit during Hari Raya Aidilfitri this year.
Fama director-general Datuk Ahmad Ishak said that it would normally import one million coconuts per month to meet the demand from wet markets nationwide.
