PAS urges defeated progressive leaders to remain in party

KUALA LUMPUR: The PAS new leadership hopes that the defeated progressive leaders will remain in the party despite indications that they may seek a new platform for their political struggle.

Referring to his former contender Mohamad Sabu's declaration that he and the other defeated non-ulama leaders might seek another avenue, Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man (pix) said every PAS member should accept the election results that were made at the recent party muktamar (general assembly).
