THE last week of the Dewan Rakyat meeting saw the “death” of Pakatan Rakyat as an Opposition coalition. News of PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail’s acknowledgement of the pact’s demise was abuzz in the Parliament lobby.
She blamed both PAS and DAP for their hasty decisions to cut ties with each other as the cause of the break-up, which drew mixed reactions from Opposition lawmakers, particularly on the fate of the Selangor state government.
