BUKIT MERTAJAM: A hospital canteen operator was slashed on the head, body and face during a scuffle with a man who robbed her of cash, a watch and jewellery amounting to about RM40,000.
It was learnt that the 56-year-old woman was alone in the canteen on the ground floor of the hospital here at 4.15am yesterday when the suspect entered the place and used a stick to hit her on the head.
