KUALA LUMPUR: Amendments to the Civil Aviation Act will be tabled in Parliament next week to allow the new Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAC) to start operations.
Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) Malaysia director-general Datuk Azharuddin Abdul Rahman said the move would allow MAC to take over the economic aspects of the aviation industry from his department.
