KUALA LUMPUR: There is no issue of political interference in Deloitte’s audit of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) owing to the prime minister’s son’s tenure in the firm.
Public Accounts Committee chairman Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed (pic) told reporters in Parliament on Wednesday that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s son Nizar Najib had no connection with the audit although he had been working at the firm since 2004.
