GEORGE TOWN: All 27 passengers and the driver of an express bus that caught fire on the North-South Expressway near here are safe.
Sungai Bakap Fire and Rescue station operation chief Syahidan Sahid said by the time firemen arrived 10 minutes after receiving a distress call at 9.26am yesterday, 70% of the bus was already gutted.
