MALACCA: The admission by the chairman of a national crime prevention group that his Datukship and doctorate were not officially recognised has triggered mass resignation among its members with the Negri Sembilan chapter set to close soon.
United Malaysia Crime Prevention Organisation deputy chairman and its Malacca chief A. Saravana Tirtha said the members here wanted to distance themselves from the group to avoid negative perception of their involvement in its activities.
