KUCHING: A walk will be held at Friendship Park here this Sunday to raise awareness on better protection for women and children from sexual violence following the acquittal of a 60-year-old man accused of raping a minor.
The Sarawak Women for Women Society (SWWS) is coordinating the event here in solidarity with a similar walk in Kuala Lumpur by a coalition of 48 women and children NGOs known as Citizens Against Rape.
