KUALA LUMPUR: A businesswoman who conned a nurse in a get-rich-quick scheme was told by a magistrate to put herself in the victim's shoes so as to realise the harm such scams caused.
Magistrate Saifulakmal Said scolded Noor Sabarina Ismail, 38, after she admitted cheating Faezah Hamdan, 47 of RM6,500. She had convinced the nurse to invest in a bogus hamper business in August 2013.
