Pahang assemblymen to receive pay raise


KUANTAN: Pahang’s 42 state assemblymen are set receive a 167.46% pay raise following the passing of a resolution to amend the Administration Personnel and State Assemblymen (Remuneration) Enactment.

Assemblymen from both Barisan Nasional and the Opposition agreed unanimously for their salaries to be increased from RM4,112.79 to RM11,000 during the state assembly sitting here Friday.
