MACC: Sabah and Sarawak campaign not seasonal move


PUTRAJAYA: With the Sarawak elections looming, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission dismissed notions that its recent massive crackdown in Sabah and Sarawak is politically motivated.

The efforts were for the long-haul, with a mission to stop illegal logging and smuggling activities once and for all, said its deputy chief commissioner (prevention) Datuk Mustafar Ali.
