KUALA LUMPUR: The character of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim can be questioned in the course of a defamation suit to prove he was slandered, the High Court ruled.
Justice Mohd Zaki Abdul Wahab said the issue of character was relevant to prove that Anwar's character could be muddied, and if so, to determine the damages he should be compensated.
