PETALING JAYA: Eighty hired cars, many of which use transport apps such as Uber, have been seized in the crackdown on illegal taxis by the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) since October last year.
The Commission said these cars - some privately-owned - did not have SPAD licenses, with some 52 of them on the way to being forfeited.
