KUALA LUMPUR: There are no plans for BR1M recipients to be exempted from paying the Goods and Services Tax (GST), Parliament was told Tuesday.
“The Government has already raised the value of BR1M in line with the GST implementation,” Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak (pic) said in a written reply to a question by Datuk Ikmal Hisham Abdul Aziz (BN-Tanah Merah).
