Police step up patrols in three city areas


KUALA LUMPUR: Police have stepped up patrols in three areas in the city frequented by tourists and expatriates in an effort to prevent against them becoming victims of robberies.

The three areas are Jalan Kia Peng, Jalan Pinang and the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC), Dang Wangi police chief ACP Zainol Samah said, adding that patrols were being increased following robbery cases involving expatriates reported in the areas.
