Moving up to double-decker buses


Upwardly mobile: The new double-decker buses at the RapidKL depot in Kuala Lumpur. The company also introduced new concepts in commuting by using decommissioned buses.

KUALA LUMPUR: Nearly 90 bus “captains” working for RapidKL are being trained to handle a fleet of double-decker buses that will be put into service in the Klang Valley this September.

“This special course for bus captains is conducted by the Rapid Bus Academy, which is equipped with both static as well as dynamic bus simulators to provide the most realistic form of training for thohse navigating our city roads,” said Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd CEO Zulkifli Mohd Yusoff.
