KOTA KINABALU: Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar (pic) wants the Philippines to be more serious in tackling cross border kidnap for ransom gangs following the latest kidnapping of two Malaysians.
"Philippines must take drastic action to prevent the criminals from continuing to victimise Malaysians and tourists in the east coast of Sabah," Khalid said after the posthumous promotion of the late Kpl Razkan Seran who was killed in a helicopter crash in Semenyih on April 4.
