PETALING JAYA: Malaysians have started donation drives to help the Myanmar and Bangladesh migrants.
More than 1,000 Rohingya and Bangladeshi migrants are now held at the Immigration Department detention centre in Belantik after being abandoned by a trafficking syndicate in Langkawi, while other migrants are still drifting in shoddy boats in the Andaman Sea and the Straits of Malacca.
