A DAP assemblyman has urged the state government to call off the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Middle Bank reclamation project to prove that it is serious in preserving the area as a marine reserve.
By not calling off the RFP, Teh Yee Cheu (DAP-Tanjung Bungah) said the state could be seen as not willing to maintain the Middle Bank as an eco-marine area.
