KUALA LUMPUR: The journalists' code of conduct cannot stop a court from ordering a journalist to reveal their sources, the High Court here was told.
Head of prosecution Yusof Ishak said that unlike the Legal Profession Act that governs lawyers, the National Union of Journalist's code of conduct was only a set of guidelines and therefore not legally binding.
