Quake victims in urgent need of rice and tents


KUALA LUMPUR: Tents and rice are what Nepalis urgently need apart from cash donations after the devastating earthquake, the country’s ambassador to Malaysia Dr Niranjan Man Singh Basnyat said.

Describing the similarities of Nepali staple food to Malaysians, Niranjan said rice was of utmost importance in terms of food aid.
