Nepal expected to send back foreign rescue teams, to handle operations by itself

KATHMANDU: Nepal is expected to send foreign search and rescue teams back as its government said they are capable of handling the search and rescue operation on its own.

Although the government has yet to formally announce its decision, the Central Natural Disaster Relief Committee (CNDRC) headed by the Nepali home minister has recommended that the government sends back foreign rescue teams, said ministry officials.
