Long slow crawl for many motorists heading back home

Vehichles are seen making a stop, jamming up the Tapah rest area during the labour day holiday. Many residents and holidaymakers took advantage of the long weekend and headed back to Penang, which was once again choked with traffic.

PETALING JAYA: The long holiday weekend has become a welcome boon for families who took the opportunity to return to their hometowns.

Malaysians are enjoying a four-day holiday, starting with Labour Day on Friday and Wesak on Sunday with an additional holiday on Monday.
