KOTA KINABALU: Several hundred people gathered peacefully on a road near the historic Padang Merdeka under the watchful eyes of the police to highlight a host of issues in Sabah.
In spite of a court order to block the gathering at the field, police allowed the crowd to walk nearby and voice their grouses for about an hour for the May Day gathering.
