KUALA LUMPUR: Asean is developing a new strategy called “One Asean, One Response” to bring various parties together for humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.
Asean secretary-general Le Luong Minh said the move was prompted by the increasing frequency and severity of natural disasters with devastating impact on the lives and economies of Asean communities.
