Please don’t call me 'beloved', says Sarawak CM

By YU JI

KUCHING: Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem (pic) has asked that people refrain from referring to him as “beloved Chief Minister”, adding that “beloved” was reserved for his family.

“You know it gets very tedious, very boring. Every time people go to functions, they hear me called Yang Amat Berhormat Tan Sri Dr Adenan Haji Satem. Just call me CM. Cukup lah (That’s enough). Better yet, just call me Adenan. That was the name my mother gave me.
