KUALA LUMPUR: Asean is taking up Malaysia’s push to promote moderation as the rise in violent extremism requires a culture of seeking peaceful solutions, said the regional body’s secretary-general Le Luong Minh.
Welcoming the expected adoption of the Langkawi Declaration on the Global Movement of Moderates (GMM) at the 26th Asean Summit, Minh said Asean was in support of moderation.
