KUALA LUMPUR: Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has expressed confidence in Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to take over as Prime Minister if Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak is to resign.
Dr Mahathir said he is confident that the Deputy Prime Minister would not commit similar mistakes as Najib whom, he said, had fared worse than previous prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
