KUALA LUMPUR: North Korea, Mongolia, Ecuador and Norway have applied to set up formal partnerships with Asean.
Wisma Putra secretary-general Datuk Othman Hashim said the applications were submitted by the countries several months ago and Asean was now evaluating the requests.
