2,000 police deployed to ensure security for 26th Asean Summit

KUALA LUMPUR: About 2,000 police personnel have been deployed to ensure the security of Asean leaders and delegates who are here for the 26th Asean Summit, which begins on Monday.

Bukit Aman internal Security and Public order department Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Muhammad Fuad Abu Zarim confirmed that all security aspects had been properly coordinated and executed.
