KOTA KINABALU: A man is believed to have been shot in Sabah's east coast Kinabatangan district where police have been on the hunt for two gunmen over a recent payroll grab that killed a plantation manager.
Sabah police commissioner Datuk Jalaluddin Abdul Rahman confirmed the incident but declined to reveal details until investigations are complete.
A man in a vehicle was reportedly shot at in Malangking Estate, but it could not be immediately ascertained if it was another payroll grab, or the wanted gunmen trying to make their escape.
