PETALING JAYA: PAS’ interpretation of hudud is not in line with Islamic teachings as it is being used as a ploy to woo Muslim voters to win elections, said Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Writing in his blog chedet.cc, the former prime minister said this could be seen from a speech given by PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang as early as before the 11th general election in 2003.
