PETALING JAYA: Restaurants which insist that customers “pay service charge or walk out” should be checked by the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry.
Calling the attitude of such outlets “rude and unethical”, Federation of Malaysian Consumer Associations (Fomca) secretary-general Datuk Paul Selvaraj urged the ministry to look into such cases.
