Plantation manager shot dead during payroll grab in Kinabatangan


KOTA KINABALU: A plantation manager was shot dead and the estate owner injured in a daring payroll grab in Sabah’s east coast Kinabatangan.

The 50-year-old manager Yuen Wing Wah was pronounced dead on arrival at the Kinabatangan hospital while the owner Danny Wong, 30, is still in critical condition after the gunmen, believed to be their workers, shot at them while grabbing the payroll at around 6pm Monday.
