A 79-YEAR-OLD woman was attacked by her son-in-law and two grandchildren in what is believed to be a ritual to drive away evil spirits supposedly lurking around her.
Che Yah Abdul Rani from Yan, Kedah, received 12 stitches on her thumb after she was slashed with a knife, Harian Metro reported.
