KOTA KINABALU: An elderly man has been killed after his wooden house was destroyed in a fire at a remote village in the foothill of Mount Kinabalu.
Sabah Fire and Rescue Services Department spokesman Affendy Ramin said farmer Dius Genda, 61, died when he could not flee in time after the blaze swept through his house at Kampung Kiau, about 80km from here.
