KUALA LUMPUR: PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang's Private Member's Bill on hudud will not see the light of day in this parliamentary session.
On Thursday, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim moved a motion to set the order of the day where debates would centre around amendments to the Sedition Act 2015, and amendments to the Members of Parliament Remuneration Bill 2014.
A motion by the Home Ministry on dangerous drugs and four others by the Finance Ministry out of 16 motions listed will be moved.
"Just the debates on the amendments to the Sedition Act itself may drag on until 1am or 2am, so I don't see how any other motions, including the Private Member's Bill brought by Datuk Seri Hadi will be debated," Rafizi Ramli (PKR-Pandan) told reporters outside Parliament lobby.
